My bf's stingyiness bothers me, would it be a problem in the future?

He got everything I like except for this stingy thing. He got the look, the brain, and he loves me. However, he is way too stingy. He would spend hours to talk about a way to save money which bores me to death. I would rather spend that time doing sth productive. He would buy everything used just to save money but I buy new things.We have not had a serious conflict so far because right now I spend my money and he spend his. But if we take a further step in the relationship, would this be a big problem?
