Why won't my webcam clear up?

So, I thought my webcam might look cool if I painted over it with this glitter/sequin nail polish I had (really stupid, I know), and then as soon as I put it on, I wiped it off, but now it's really foggy and nothing is working to fix it. I tried nail polish remover, windex, and gl lens cleaner. Any ideas on how to fix it? Pleaseeee help!
