I had metal in my eye and now I'm worried?

I went to the ER and they said it was in their for a little while maybe 3 days or so and that a rust ring had developed in my right eye in the brown part of my eye. I went to the optometrist and he drilled out the rust particles and I have to go back tomorrow. I won't go blind in that eye right? There was no infection or anything. I am really nervous because I'm only 14. I got it in my eye while playing Call of Duty 4 I think I new that game was realistic BUT this is ridiculous.
