Ok so my Fiance has joined the Army and he is 40?

Yes I said it he is 40 years old! He has been in Construction his whole life and been laid off so much that he took this dramatic detour and joined the Military, My Question is does anyone know why it could be taking so long to get him sworn in? He ped his ASVAB, his blood work, and everything else, he had only one thing come back which was his Cholesterol was too high so they say? But in a week and a half I had his numbers perfect and we had our local Dr. retest him and he turned those in Today, the recruiter even said "wow your numbers dropped that much, in that short of time? makes me wonder if there was a glitch at MEPS?" So I wonder how much longer will he have to wait for that phone call to go to MEPS again & get sworn in?? Any help at all truly will help ease his mind!! Thank you
