Do you get picked on about your accent?

I don't have an actual accent, but a speech impediment thing that causes my R's to sound funny. Mostly the "are" sound, like in "car" sounds like "ah" or "cah". My mom tried to get me to go to speech in fourth grade but I didn't want to so they didn't make me, and now I'm glad. Its part of me. Some people will do annoying things like asking me to say "car" over and over again,and say that its weird or annoying to hear me talk (my one friend is really mean to me about it...) but most other people think its cute.
